Rembrandt, a 17-yeqr old, 16.3 hand draftcross, is the biggest sweetheart on a ranch of 50 horses. Very gentle but is more of a “go horse,” not a whoa horse. He started out his career as a rider-trainer horse under English and has all of the etiquette and skills to live up to his 5 year career there. The owner/manager of the training program died and his children let Rembrandt and his 4 other companions graze and do little else for 4 years. He was then purchased by a cattle ranch in Paicines Califonia and was rigorously trained to ride western, trail ride, work with cattle and ride obstacle courses. He is exceptional at leg ques and can be ridden with no bridle/halter or saddle. He has been training under Lauren Urban in Santa Barbara in dressage and he is simply great at it. He has standout conformation, striking tobiano coloring, suppelness under the dressage bridle/saddle, and rounds easily. He is such a sweetie that he essentially bridles himself, puts on his own fly mask and will follow you without asking a word. He is perfect for someone wants a good riding horse both in English and Western and can do great things in the arena as well as on the trail.
Rembrandt is one of the most beloved on Glen Annie Ranch due to his friendliness, calmness and get up and go attitude when you want it of him. He is always, always a gentleman and will completely follow your commands. We are selling him because he is my son’s horse and he is moving away for a job
