Red Man is the trustworthy, safe, and reliable mule you’ve been looking for. He has the look and build everyone loves as well. Red is excellent on the trails and has been ridden by a variety of riders. He does the big group rides or goes out by himself. He will lead or ride anywhere in the group. He gets relaxed and ear flops with the best of them. Water, logs, ditches, bridges etc he does with no problem. He has been on overnight camping trips and stays in a pen or the high line with no problem.
Have a job you need to do? Red man is a great using mule. He has worked on big ranches and pasture ropes. He will hold a cow to brand or vaccinate. I have pushed cattle from pasture to pasture. Sorted off calves, and loaded cattle on the trailer. He is ok with the flag and will hold his ground if they turn back on him. He knows his job and does it well. We have recently been using him to break in a new set of roping steers and his calm demeanor is perfect to get them used to being pushed down the alleys, into pens, and through the chute.
Red man walks, jogs, and lopes. He will back and side pass. Open and close gaits. He travels well. Just this last weekend we rode him through our local tractor parade and the bustling commotion and traffic was no concern for him! He is a super nice and reliable mule that most anyone can enjoy. He can be ridden every day doing a job or on the weekends trail riding.
