This is one for the future! Proudly offered for sale is 4 year old (will be 5 in September), KWPN registered gelding Pumba. Pumba was imported back in October and given plenty of time to relax and complete some ground work. Coming from proven bloodlines like Jazz and Quarterback, Pumba definitely shows these great qualities from his bloodlines in his gaits and work ethic. He stands at about 16.2, has a suspended trot and the most balanced canter I have ever ridden on a young horse. This horse is impressive to say the least. Can swing your leg over after 3 days off and is the same, throw him in the trailer and he’s the same off the property, go on a trail ride and he takes everything in stride, water on the ground is no big deal, dogs, ducks, chickens don’t phase him either. We threw him over crossrails for the first time ever on 8/4, and he bravely went over everything with a Junior rider. Steady balance and could add take away strides. I believe with his braveness and steadiness he would make an excellent hunter/jumper/event horse. Will gallop around anything and goes where his rider tells him. JUmp schooling will continue for him over the next few weeks. He is still green in life experience, but this boy is meant to go in the show ring! With a lofty suspended trot, and the most steady balanced canter I have ever ridden, he has immense potential to go in any direction. Pumbaa would be great for an ammy/JR in a program, or a professional ready to produce. Stands well for farrier, vet, clipping, bathing, and everything else.
