Princess Padme, known as “Phoenix,” is a 2020 registered KWPN mare standing 15.2hh. By KWPN stallion Vaandrager HBC and out of a Thoroughbred mare, she is kind, sensible, people-oriented, and has a solid foundation with a bright future.
Phoenix is exceptionally sweet and easy to be around. She wants to be with her person and will follow through tarps, bridges, logs, and pool noodle chutes. She is also unfazed by bikes, wagons, dogs, sheep, goats, and cows.

She has also handled unexpected moments well, including an extended trailer stop after curbing the trailer in the Culver’s drive-thru :)
Under saddle, Phoenix is sensitive, light in the bridle, responsive, and well started. She yields off the leg and has excellent brakes. Phoenix has been off property to a dressage show, where she earned third place and stayed sensible in a new environment.
Phoenix is up-to-date on all vaccinations and Coggins. She has no vices. She has healthy, sturdy feet and is barefoot and sound. Medical records are available to serious interested parties.
Phoenix is best suited for a confident rider with young-horse experience or someone working with a trainer. She is kind and willing, but still green and sensitive, so she will thrive in a thoughtful, consistent program.
Phoenix lives outside 24/7 but is also content stalled. She loves puddles and water—sometimes too much, as low troughs may become her bathtub. Phoenix is a special young mare with an excellent brain, quality breeding, kind nature, and transparent health history. She is ready to continue developing with the right person.
