Pete is a 4 year old grade gelding that is as cute as a button. Pete is easy on the eyes with his build and dark points. Pete is thick built and has a nice hip on him. He is an in your pocket type gelding, is very friendly and will meet you at the gate or in the field. Pete has had different levels of riders on him and has taken care of all of them. Pete rides around nice and quiet. He lopes nice collected circles and carries himself gracefully. Pete has a nice level headset and is fun to ride. He spins around correctly and will plant it when asked to stop. Pete has been roped on and would make an excellent roping prospect for anyone looking to go that direction. He has enough get up and go to get a job done but then will settle right back down and is a gentleman. Pete is sacked out, will go over a teeter totter bridge, noodles, obstacles, tarps, big balls, drones, ATVs, dogs, etc… Pete has been rode both in the arena and outside. He has been rode out in the pasture, out on the desert and on the trails in high country. He will cross logs and water with no problems. Pete stands 14.3 hands, comes to a mounting block, will pick up all of his feet, nails up nice for the farrier, clips, bathes, stands tied, trailers and hauls with no problem. This gelding is one of our favorites to come across our place. He will fit a variety of riders and one you don’t want to miss out on.
