Meet Oreo, a 12-year-old gelding standing 14.3 hands. He has been proudly owned and loved by a youth rider for the past three years and has been an outstanding partner as she developed her riding skills.

During that time, Oreo has accomplished a great deal, including:

• Competing in barrel racing

• Pole bending

• Multiple gymkhana events

• Completing a full year of Pima County 4-H

• Earning 1st Place in Showmanship

• Earning 3rd Place in Reining

Oreo is a dependable, level-headed horse that is enjoyable both in and out of the arena. He rides out alone with confidence, crosses water without hesitation, is comfortable riding on the streets, and stays calm around crowds without being spooky. He has proven himself to be a trustworthy mount for a young rider.

The only reason Oreo is being offered for sale is that our daughter's riding has progressed tremendously over the past three years. She has outgrown him competitively and is now looking for a faster horse to pursue more competitive barrel and Competition Horse, Oreo is not a winning barrel horse as he struggles to get times under 20, but he is an incredibly fun, honest horse for gymkhanas, 4-H, and someone looking for a safe, experienced partner.

With his accomplishments, versatility, and solid mind, we feel $9,500 is a fair asking price. We are also open to trades for a faster performance horse.
