Looking for the Perfect Home for My OTTB Gelding
This is one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. I'm 18 and leaving for college out of state in just a few weeks. As much as I don't want to sell him, I know he deserves someone who has the time to continue working with him and give him the future he deserves.

I am his third owner and have owned him for the past four years. I rescued him after he had been retired to pasture, and we've built an incredible partnership together. Last year I suffered an injury that kept me from riding, so he spent about a year in pasture. When I returned to riding this January, he understandably needed a refresher getting back into work.
Since May, he has been in professional training at Oak Creek Training Stables, working multiple times each week with a trainer. He has made incredible progress and continues to improve every week. He is completely rideable and just needs an experienced rider to continue bringing him along.

• Extensive trail riding experience
• I was working toward making him a three day event horse and truly believe he would excel in cross country

• Good with kids, dogs, and other animals
• Stands quietly for the farrier and veterinarian
• Cross ties, bathes, and handles well
• Sound
• Shod on all four feet
• Teeth floated and annual vaccinations completed February 26
• Maintained on a regular deworming schedule
He has so much potential and has already come such a long way. He would do best with an experienced rider who can continue his training and help him reach his full potential.
Tack is not included, but I am willing to sell it separately. I have a complete list of tack available upon request.
Finding him the right home is my highest priority. Serious buyers are welcome to schedule a time to meet him and take a test ride. I would be open to lease possibilities as well as long as I could spend time with him when I was home from school.
