"Nova" Blue Roan Mare Draft

Nova is a stunning 4-year-old, 16h blue roan draft cross mare who’s as kind and reliable as they come. With experience in therapy lessons and veteran’s programs, she’s proven herself to be incredibly trustworthy and steady. You can genuinely count on her. She will side-pass right over to the mounting block so you can hop on easily. Nova has the looks, the brains, and the versatility to go in just about any direction. She has a solid foundation in both English and Western and has been exposed to a wide range of real-world experiences; she will cross bridges and ditches without hesitation, walk through water, tackle trail obstacles, and meet new situations with a calm, willing attitude. She’s always careful, slow, and sure-footed; the perfect trail partner.

Whether she’s in the arena or out on the trails, she rides quietly and happily. She’s confident going out alone or with a group and handles varied terrain beautifully. On the ground, her manners are excellent; respectful, easy to handle, and a true pleasure to be around. She stands like a champ for the farrier, vet, grooming, tacking, mounting, and dismounting. Loading and unloading is a breeze, and she’s just as sweet in the barn as she is under saddle. Under saddle, she has smooth, comfortable gaits;

a nice walk, trot, and canter. She’s equally happy on a loose rein or collected, side-passes beautifully, and is always eager to please her rider. One day you can enjoy a relaxed trail ride, and the next she’s ready to work in the arena. She’ll even lie down on cue!
