Nickel is a cool gelding that is a favorite to our whole family and is now looking for his forever home. Nickel stands 14-3 hands tall and is really quiet and broke. Nickel is quiet and respectful in the barn and loved being handled and groomed by the children. Our 3 and 5 yr olds handle and groom him with no issues. When they lead him, he drops his head down to their level and follows them like a puppy. Serenity (3) and Amanda (8) spend many hours with him in the corrals and out in the yard just walking trotting, loping, turning, backing, getting on and off with the mounting block or just playing and practicing their horsemanship. Nickel loves every minute of it! In the arena Nickel knows how to collect up and ride around. He responds to leg cues and pressure. He knows his leads, lopes circles, and side passes. Nickel has been exposed to tarps and balls and remains unfazed even downtown or the trails. Nickel stands to mount and waits on you’re cue to move. On the trails, he is an absolute veteran and offers no resistance. He willingly crosses logs ditches and goes thru water. Our 10 yr old son rode him in the middle of 25 horses on a trail ride and Nickel stayed his cool level headed self. Nickel comes wrapped in a beautiful rich palamino color with a strip down his face.
