Meet Namaste! A big bodied 14.1 hand 4 year old Percheron x Haflinger x Gypsy mare. This girl is exactly what her name suggestsโquiet, peaceful, and always โzen.โ She is absolutely beginner-safe and as calm as they come. Namaste is the definition of more woah than go.
Namaste is a lovely, easygoing mare who enjoys spending time with her people and is happy to take life at a relaxed pace. She is quiet, willing, and forgiving, making her a wonderful choice for a beginner, family, adult amateur rider looking for a confidence builder, or anyone searching for a dependable horse to simply enjoy.
She rides English or Western. Namaste will walk, trot, and canter down the trail. If given the option, she would prefer to stay โzenโ and take things slowlyโbecause why rush? She has also done basic arena work, started lead changes. She will canter off with encouragement but if not she will just trot around on a loose rein.
Namaste loves to drive and pulls a carriage effortlessly. She has more outside, real-world exposure than fancy arena training. She was previously owned by a very sweet Amish family Who raised her on their family farm.Namaste took the children to school daily. Her ideal owner would be a family or individual who wants to trail ride for leisure, fox hunt, or simply enjoy a safe, steady partner. She is 100% traffic-safe and remains sound and sensible off the property. She does not change her cadence or become worried in new environments.
She is comfortable being handled, ridden, and exposed to new experiences. She does not need time to โsettle inโ. Take her off the trailer and go do your thing! Namaste is the kind of mare who helps her rider feel confident and secure.
Whether you want to enjoy relaxed trail rides, spend time grooming and bonding, or have a steady partner for everyday riding, Namaste is happy to be part of the experience. She is content to walk along quietly and is not in a hurry to go anywhere.
Namasteโs quiet temperament, gentle nature, and willing attitude make her a standout. She is the type of horse who brings a sense of peace to the barn and makes riding enjoyable for everyone.
