I’ve got the sweetest grumpy gelding that you never knew you needed! His whole personality is that of your grumpy grandfather. Sweet, safe, gentle, reliable, and prefers to go slow.
Mr. Crabs is a 14yo bay, grade, gelding, standing about 15hh. Catch him anywhere, most the time he walks to you with his ears pinned… all to be petted. He’s excellent on the ground, saddles, and bridles with ease. He stands to step on, rides off on a loose rein, and has an amazing neck rein. His preferred speed is a walk, however he will trot, and lope if nagged enough. Mr crabs is a great trail horse, has no spook we’ve found, and I’m convinced a bomb could go off under him and he’d never know. I actually really like this sweet flashy gelding- he’s a one of a kind. Mr Crabs is gentle enough I put my 7yo daughter on him and they wondered around briefly until he realized he could ignore her, and stand around instead. And yes it took an act of god to get him to smile for pictures.
