In her previous life, Glory was a broodmare/nurse mare, and she is easy around little ones. We’ve used Glory as a companion horse for some difficult mares, and she has now helped us introduce them to the big herd.
Glory is fun to ride, and the kids like getting on her in the field, which she tolerates with little attention to their antics. She comes to you easily in a huge field of horses, and will gladly let you love on her. She is currently out at night and in a stall by day.
She is primarily ridden by our 13 year old, who enjoys playing around with Glory in the arena and in the fields. She is easy under saddle and with or without a bit. She does have some get up and go, depending on her rider— hence the 2 in temperament. She likes to go fast if her rider is experienced— not a dead head. However, she is just fine going slow for beginners.
She loves being brushed, and bathed, is easy for fly spray, and is good for farriers, our vet, and dentist.
Glory is an “easy keeper”, good with grass and just a little grain (we have her on a balancer).
We are selling Glory because we need to reduce our herd before the arrival of some new foals. She’s a wonderful girl, and we wish we could keep her.
She’s up to date on farrier, vaccines, etc. we will secure a new coggins for her before the sale. Please contact with questions, or to come meet Glory.
