Monroe is a 7 year old 14.2 hand sorrel gelding frosted with a flaxen mane. Monroe is the perfect size for everyone to enjoy and use. He has great bone structure with wonderful feet, he is built just right!

Monroe has spent 7 months in cutting training and prior to starting his sorting career he was used extensively on the ranch and as a turn back horse, Monroe knows a hard days work and does it willingly. He has been hauled to the local sortings where he has dominated his events. Monroe is EASY to ride he has a fancy one handed neck rein and only needs the lightest cues. Monroe is full of forgiveness and honesty making him perfect to learn on. He was a major confidence boost for my 7 year old daughter who worked the flag her first time on him. I was thrilled with his patience with her! He melts down and fits anyone. Monroe is also a business man and is ready to work when you. When you are not asking him to be competitive he stays quiet and stands still.

He saddles up gentle, stands tied all day, loads, backs off easily, hauls/stalls great, is good for the farrier, easy to bridle and is quiet as a mouse.

Monroe will make a great addition to your family if you are wanting to add a quiet gelding to the barn. Use him on the trails for leisure and take him to the sortings to WIN!
