“Monkey” is a one in a million pony. He stands at a stout 39 inches and at 12 yrs. old. He is as flashy as they come. Monkey is 100% gentle and kind 365 days a year. This little gelding is what every child should start out on. Monkey will teach them everything they need to set them up for success in their riding career. He stands tied quietly for hours. Monkey is easy to catch in a big pasture and a complete saint on the ground for saddling, grooming, and bathing. This sweet guy has been used all over the ranch, playdays and he even pulls a cart! He is quiet minded and patient even in chaotic situations. Monkey has been exposed to all the chaos that goes on daily in a ranch setting. We have yet to find anything that spooks or scares this precious gelding. Monkey is accustom to tractors, side by sides, cattle, dogs, chickens, cats, big horses and crazy ranch kids. The kids love to drag him into the house like a dog. He keeps all our kids busy while we work and is the best babysitter. Monkey rides out like a big horse and has the smoothest little trot and lope. He is never one to run off and only goes as fast as his rider asks. Monkey is a really special pony that deserves a really special child!
