From the day she arrived, she has impressed me with her quiet mind, willingness, and confidence. She has been started correctly, never rushed or drilled into the ground, allowing her to develop mentally and physically while building a solid foundation for the future.
Judy isn’t a “dead-head.” She has personality, enjoys having a job, and has enough forward to be fun without ever feeling anxious or hurried. She stays soft, willing, and thoughtful, making every ride enjoyable. For a coming 3-year-old, that’s a combination I don’t come across very often.
She is naturally smooth-gaited with an incredibly comfortable ride, has an excellent stop, backs willingly, is started on neck reining, and continues to improve with every ride.
Judy has already been on numerous trail rides and confidently crosses creeks, ponds, bridges, hills, and rough terrain. Traffic doesn’t bother her, and she approaches new situations with curiosity instead of fear. Whether she’s carrying a flag, dragging a sled, standing quietly during gunfire, or letting us try a new TikTok trend with her, she consistently chooses to stop, think, and trust her rider. Those are qualities that are difficult to teach; her mindset is genuine and organic.
On the ground, she’s just as enjoyable. Judy stands quietly for grooming, bathing, saddling, bridling, mounting from a mounting block, and the farrier. She picks up all four feet with ease, loads into the trailer, and is genuinely pleasant to handle every day.
Judy is sired by World Grand Champion and three-time World Champion Minor Ordeal and out of Stormy Night Revenge. She comes from proven bloodlines known for both talent and trainability, and I believe she reflects those qualities every time you swing a leg over her.
She is current on vaccinations, deworming, dental care, Coggins, and farrier work, and sells with a fresh set of four shoes featuring Drill Tech and toe clips, making her ready to enjoy as soon as she arrives.
As much as I’ve enjoyed bringing Judy along, my business is developing quality young horses and matching them with their next partner. If you’re looking for a young Tennessee Walking Horse with an exceptional foundation, an outstanding mind, and all the potential in the world, I truly believe you’ll be just as impressed with Judy as I have been.
