Our ages for sale are all under 6 years old - we do not rehome our older donkeys - please please remember these too are our pets (our oldest is about 26 years old and we have owned him since 2007- hes ideal body count and a goof ball Toby - so we like to keep ours for the long haul. Traditionally selling our babys at different ages and of handlbility and or training

We only have All Miniatures Donkey's and our preferences WE will only have mini donkeys "because of their personalities and for our and others safety". First thing everyone does is visit and no matter how much we teach they walk behind donkeys butt. Luckily ours are docile and respectful of your space. But its the 1st rule of being around a donkey or really any animal livestock no matter the bred or size. We too are selling one of our mini horses mare only cause "she has bonded with mini donkeys not our mini horses" (and we will very much so reduce her price if she is sold as companionship with one of our donkeys)

Some miniature Donkeys are accustom to be by themselves..... or a paddock next too others. Ours are in clusters. But some do need a buddy a friend "at least same size of Equine. Mini equine can be content with other livestock breeds. But Traditionally mini donkeys live happier healthier lives with a compatible of their same size mini equine (donkeyor horse). They are very similar breeds but if you ask me and or my family mini horse are completely different than mini donkeys. And a standard full size is again completely different than a small size mini or micro. And ....Not all mini livestock animals do get along together. Ours we have worked with and its a process but fortunately we have "closed herds" and they all interact are in harmony with eachother in a controlled safe environment. We do not keep our mini jacks together "well just because we never did years years ago" - but we do mix and allow our jacks n jennys to play and visit different zones "zen-time" we have created different paddocks in different areas of our property and too lease acreas = so they are entertained and their minds are keep busy "in a different area" and they all share very well (too good growth for our younger ones with our older ones) socialism and phcycoligy. (Don't you get tired of doing the same thing everyday if doing it year in year out). Even ours that if they have been together for over 5 years we still rotate and they become more social and accepting other people n breeds of animals and are very playful and respectful of this process. I just call them by name and they kinda swap paddocks in rotations.
