3-Year-Old Mustang Stallion — Experienced Home/Trainer Wanted
I’m looking for the right home for my 3-year-old Mustang stallion. He is a beautiful young horse with his whole life ahead of him and would make a really neat project for someone experienced with Mustangs and young, minimally handled horses.
He is not papered and has had very minimal handling throughout his life, so he is truly a blank slate. He has not been started under saddle and is not being represented as a broke or beginner horse.
He is still a stallion, and because of his age and limited handling, he needs someone who is confident, patient, knowledgeable, and has the proper facilities and experience to continue his education safely.
He currently needs his feet caught up and his routine care brought current, which is reflected in his price. I would much rather be completely honest about where he is now and find him the right person than send him somewhere that isn’t prepared for him.
I believe he has a lot of potential in the right hands. He is young, athletic, and a complete blank slate for someone who enjoys taking a horse from the beginning and building a relationship with them.
Ideal home:
• Experienced with Mustangs or minimally handled horses
• Experienced handling young stallions
• Proper fencing/facilities
• Patient and willing to put time into him
• Looking for a project rather than a finished horse
• Someone interested in giving him a job and a good future
He is not suitable for a beginner, inexperienced handler, or someone looking for an immediate riding horse.
I am asking $1,500 OBO for him to the right home. I am much more concerned about where he ends up than getting the highest price possible, so serious inquiries should be prepared to tell me about their experience, facilities, and plans for him.
Located in Clayton Washington.
Please message me with information about yourself, your experience with Mustangs/young horses, and the type of home you can provide.
