Double Tuf Max aka Max is an outstanding 4-year-old buckskin gelding that stands 15hh. Whether it’s trail riding, ranch work or you’re looking for a show prospect, Max has what it takes to get the job done.

Max has been trail ridden through a wide variety of terrain, from wide open pastures and fields to heavily wooded timbers with steep hills and bluffs. Max handles everything like a pro, carefully picking his way through deadfall, splashing through water crossings, or strolling across a bridge. Even obstacles like teeter-totters, tarps, dragging logs, opening, and closing gates and steps are not a problem for Max. Max has been used to check and move cows. He is not bothered when things start moving fast with lots of pressure.

Max rides around nice and soft with a one-hand neck rein. He moves off your leg cues nicely, and moves through his gates (walk, trot, and lope) with easy and smooth transitions. Max knows his leads and picks them up willingly.

Max stands tied wherever you put him. He stands for the farrier and to be bathed. He loads in a stock or slant load trailer with no problems. Max is 100% sound, up to date on worming, vaccinations, and dental care.
