Every barn has that one horse everyone seems to gravitate toward. The one thatโs always waiting at the gate, enjoys the attention, and is just as pleasant to be around as he is to ride. Thatโs Marshall. Standing 15.2 hands tall, this handsome 8 year old blue roan gelding is stout made, big boned, and built exactly the way youโd hope to find one. He has a kind eye, a sweet personality, and the easy nature that makes him a horse youโll look forward to seeing every day.
Marshall isnโt the type thatโs in a hurry. Heโs naturally more whoa than go and is happiest taking life one step at a time. In the arena he has a comfortable walk, a solid one handed neck rein, nice trot circles, an easy, slow lope, willingly picks up both leads, and has a good correct western stop.
When itโs time to leave the arena, Marshall is just as dependable. Heโll cross water without hesitation, ease through brush, travel rough terrain, and is just as comfortable riding out alone as he is with a group. Dogs are nothing new to him, new places donโt seem to faze him. Heโs the kind of horse thatโs happy to spend the afternoon exploring a trail or taking a quiet relaxing ride.
Owning Marshall is just easy. By the time you walk to the pasture, heโs usually already headed your direction. He doesnโt need grain to be caught because he genuinely enjoys being around people. He leads quietly without crowding your space, stands tied or in the cross ties for as long as you need, is easy to bathe, saddle, and bridle, and picks up all four feet without any fuss. Heโs lower in the pecking order, respectful on the ground, and has the kind of personality that makes him feel more like a friend than just another horse in the barn.
Marshall sells with a current negative Coggins and a full health examination completed on June 29, 2026. Horses that are built this well are easy to find.
