We chose the name Mabel because it means “lovable” and if you could choose one word to describe this lovely mare that would definitely be the one! She is the sweetest mare you’ve ever met. Though she is young, she is SAFE, SAFE, SAFE and we are confident she will take care of any rider. We describe her as 5 years old, going on 20. She is so kind and so good minded.

The possibilities are endless with this talented mare. She currently rides English, Western and drives. She’s had over a year of professional training and we’ve exposed her to so many different things and situations.

Whether you want to compete in dressage, western dressage, eventing, fox hunting etc or have fun trail riding on a horse you can trust she’s the horse for you. She’s the best on the trails. She doesn’t care if she’s by herself or with a bunch of other horses. She’s very independent. She’ll go through water, over logs, over jumps, down the road wherever you point her.

She neck reins and moves off your leg well. So well in fact that she will go without a bridle! She has more whoa than go but will move out when asked. She is very good with her leads and she has the smoothest canter. She’s not only a beautiful mover, but extremely comfortable to sit to and just SO FUN to ride.

Mabel has absolutely no vices. She is an easy keeper and a barn favorite with her excellent manners. She will stand on the crossties for hours just loving being groomed or bathed. She trailers great and will stand tied to the trailer as well. She is barefoot and sound. She is a great size currently standing at 15.1 hands.
