LeDoux:

PROS:

-More Go - than Whoa he can really move out,

-Swing a rope off him,

-Amazing to Saddle,

-Excellent to mount & Dismount,

-Fantastic for his feet and being groomed,

-Best horse I’ve ever loaded into a 2 horse trailer just throw a rope over his neck and send him in.

-Once he trusts you he is amazing and will do anything asked.

-Hes soft and supple, very easy to collect and move out.

-lateral moves easily, slides, spins and has a excellent stop.

- has had extensive ground work, trail ridden,

- bathes, loads, No lameness

-respects your space, has NEVER tried running me over EVER!

- good with dogs and kids on the ground just not Flailing around his face.

CONS

-Needs a leader someone that can be his match, and gain his trust.

- Has severe Lyme disease which has been treated, numbers have been going down on his titer test,

- he’s extremely sensitive, not so much in the saddle but on the ground.

If you move too fast -

-Hard to bridle, previous owner twitched his ears he is headshy, with time he will trust you and allow you to touch his ears and work around his head it does require alot of patience but well worth it.

Gets tense in the Stall but has never tried to kick, bite or anything mean just very jumpy and snorts loud but if you spend time with him just 30 mins a day he gets way better, I had a trainer work with him for an hour and you could see improvements within the hour she was able to put his bridle on.

- someone was very mean to him before I got him, and if he thinks your gonna hurt him the tension is his body is easily noticed. He won’t bolt, or rear but you can see it.

-he’s not a horse you can ride and put away for weeks then ride again he needs consistency / routine. You need to have time to ride him or don’t waste our time.

This horse all around is so amazing this has not been an easy decision , you can take him anywhere and he’s chill. He is buddy sour but if you spend time with him he is great if you have that bond he won't care about the other horses, excellent around traffic noise, HE NEEDS A JOB!!!!

Once you win him over i guarantee he will be your heart horse, I know it is me not him, he needs someone with confidence and gentle.
