Exciting opportunity for a professional or ambitious adult amateur to add an incredibly striking colt to their family. “Lakeside Phable” is a son of our 16.3hh Oldenburg-TB “Polished Hero LSF” (bred for hunters and equitation, bay w/blaze pictured) and our miss perfect large children’s pony, 14.1hh Halflinger-APHA “Angel at Dawn” (black and white pinto pictured).

This colt is expected to be a perfect investment for any family - a genuine all-arounder for trail riding, eventing, dressage, fox hunting, and hunters/eq. This is an absolute children’s hobby horse rock-star for your youngster to bring along according to their own goals!

The dam is a quiet, quiet, QUIET mare that has been packing little tykes from her first day on our farm. The sire is a 10/10 mover, just getting started with his training that our teen handles all the time for routine care.

Our foals are raised with lots of love - turnout, 100% gentle handling (we never crank around on head, face, tail, legs, etc), preferring to build trust and handle the foal according to his/her natural instincts to follow trusted maternal influences (the dam and the care-providers). Foals have legs, feet, ears, muzzle, belly, tail, etc handled casually as part of daily affection and socialization from the start!

We are reluctantly selling a few horses following my husband’s tragic death in July however, this foal was always intended as a sales prospect and the same mating is planned for 2027.
