I like to introduce you to Rafter GF Skeets Gun, aka “Lady May”. She is a registered American Quarter Horse mare that is just 7 years old. Lady May is fantastically bred; she is a granddaughter of the famous Spooks Gotta Whiz, a NRHA champion of over $300K. Just like her grandfather, Lady May has a solid mind and talent for the show ring. She has been shown in Ranch Pleasure, along with trail riding and children’s riding lessons. She stands approximately 15.3 hands and is very nicely built. She has very nice legs and no scars or issues. She is the most beautiful buckskin color and has very kind eyes. Lady May is easy to work with, leads nicely, loads up, and stands tied nicely. In the arena Lady May is one of the easiest horses to ride. She has a nice easy neck rein, where she will pivot beautifully, with a nice correct 360 turn. Lady May has one of the smoothest small jogs that anyone can sit. A good collected long trot and a rocking chair lope. She will hit both leads and move off leg. She will side pass both directions and carry a nice headset. Lady May is also fantastic with trail obstacles, going over bridges, teeter totters, through water, and over tires. She is a smart mare that loves to please. Out on the trail she is levelheaded and easy. She will ride in a group or out alone. She doesn’t get upset if the horses are far out in front of her. She is good on her feet and over rough terrain. She is always my first pick in the barn to take out anywhere. She is a fast learner and would also make a good rope horse or English prospect. She is suitable for any level rider including children. She will stand at the mounting block to me mounted and stands still to be dismounted. She is not spooky at all and is one of the most comfortable rides. I can’t say enough good about this young lady, I absolutely love her. And I’m sure you will too. She is up to date on Coggins and vaccinations and on 4 shoes.
