"Jake" Bay Gelding Quarter Horse

Jake, is a 17 year old 15.2 hand, tricolored paint, Rocky Mt. Spotted/ American Saddlebred/ Quarter horse cross. He is naturally gaited and a blast to ride. I am 68 and he was always very careful with me. He is highly responsive, very well trained with leg aids, gentle enough for a beginner but definitely loves someone that knows which buttons to push. He will take a bit but prefers a bitless bridle and even goes brideless if using leg aids. He came to us with shoes on but we have since transitioned him to barefoot. He is used to lighter riders, someone less than 150 lbs. And would do best not going over that.

I have two horses for sale that I love but I am out of the country for almost two years and they need to be loved and worked. They truly love each other and I have a picture of them lounging in the field facing each other that I took about a year after we got Bella. She always tries to please Jake, staying with him when they are turned out to pasture and he finally releases her to run ahead. It would be great if they could stay together.
