Honey is a beautiful chestnut mare with a kind eye and a willing attitude. She never raced and was previously used as a jumper. After spending the last two years out in pasture, she recently came back into work with us for a refresher under saddle. Due to unforeseen life circumstances, she is now being offered for sale.
Honey is sweet, eager to please, and enjoys having a job, though she is still a work in progress. She has a forward walk, trot, and lope, picks up her leads, does simple lead changes, and has a good stop and backup. She absolutely loves to jump and is confident over fences. With continued training on the flat, she has the potential to excel as an eventer or show jumper.
🚫 Not a beginner horse — Honey would do best with an experienced rider who is patient and comfortable with a more forward, sensitive type.
