Hawk is an 11-year-old, 14.3-hand, thick-built Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse gelding.
Hawk is a very sweet horse and is always the first to meet you at the gate. He has a willing attitude and aims to please.
He has excellent ground manners. Hawk stands tied quietly, is easy to saddle and groom, is great for the farrier, loads and unloads well, and will back out of the trailer with no issues.
Hawk stands quietly to be mounted and rides off from home without any barn or buddy sour behavior.
He has a confident, forward-moving walk that can really cover some ground, along with a smooth, natural 4-beat gait that’s comfortable to ride all day.
Hawk neck reins, backs up well, and is traffic safe, dog safe, and accustomed to wildlife. He confidently crosses creeks, ditches, logs, and other trail obstacles with ease.
