😍Meet Hank!😍
Hank is an 7yo John Mule who stands just over 15.2hh. He would be well suited to English disciplines as well as western.
Hank is with us on consignment. He was purchased by his current owner at an auction this past April. He is being sold because his owner needs a more seasoned mule. I have included a screenshot of his sale ad stating he has hunted and packed before. He was reported to be broke at walk, trot and lope under saddle and has experience going over obstacles.
Upon our assessment we found a lovely, friendly, sweet mule who is just green to under saddle aids. Hank is a beautiful mover and smooth under saddle. He has been very willing to learn and tries hard. We have been working on getting him more broke to rein and leg aids and primarily working at the walk and trot. There is a video of his current progress with us available upon request.
Hank requires a home experienced with mules as he likes a good leader and we consider him to be green under saddle. He has to potential to be an exceptional mule with more experience as he has the right temperament. He had some bolting issues when he first came to us that are under control right now. We feel they were due to him not understanding what was being asked of him. He wants to please.
He is being sold as a project mule with a good start. Owners loss is your gain. This is a really nice mule.
