DOB-3/1/2021, five-year-old bay gelding, 100% sound and gentle enough for anyone to ride, Gus is extremely talented, capable of taking care of a beginner. He is Husband and kid safe. Totally reliable. Also capable of ranch work, roping, moving cattle, and even reliably wrangling a large remuda of horses, you name it, Gus can handle it. He never gets jacked up or out of control. He was my main wrangler horse in Wyoming in the Bighorn Mountains for two summers. He stands 16 hands and weighs 1400 lbs.
Gus is out of a Percheron quarter/cross mare and Percheron quarter/cross stud, making him pretty unique in the draft/cross world. I can’t say enough good things about this horse. I’ve owned him since he was a yearling, and my wife and I have enjoyed every minute we’re around him. He’s also really funny and sweet. Always in your pockets.
