I have two Fjord Mares that we saved from Texas Kill Pen and transported to Florida. I do not have a lot of information about them. Was told they are teenagers and trained for harness work. I took them in to give them a place to land until they could be homed. I have not done anything with them other than getting them back in shape and regaining their trust in people. As many may not know it's a traumatic experience for these horses when they end up in kill pens on the verge of being shipped out to slaughter. We were told that one mare may be pregnant, we are in the process of getting vet out to confirm this though. All proceeds from them will go back into rescuing two more horses. Purchase agreement would require horses returned to us if they do not work out. Would like them to go together to a home as they are a bonded pair.
