Galaxy is the kind of horse that turns heads everywhere he goes! With his four bright white legs, bald face, and striking blue eyes, he is undeniably flashy, but his looks are only a small part of what makes this horse so special. Galaxy truly is the whole package, combining a beautiful appearance with a wonderful personality, a willing attitude, and the versatility to be enjoyed by the entire family. Whether you're looking for a dependable trail partner, a ranch horse, or a talented arena prospect, Galaxy has something to offer.
Galaxy has a true puppy-dog personality and absolutely loves attention. He is the type of horse that wants to be around his person and enjoys every bit of affection and attention his rider is willing to give him. He has been ridden through busy town streets, put in many miles on the trails, and used to help gather cattle in the pastures. On the trail, Galaxy is steady, confident, and trusting in his rider. He is used to crossing water and confidently navigating downed trees and other challenging obstacles without making a fuss. He has also been exposed to all kinds of obstacles, including balls, tarps, dragging a sled, and tracking the roping dummy. Galaxy has the kind of dependable mindset that makes you feel comfortable taking him somewhere new and asking him to handle whatever comes his way.
What makes Galaxy even more special is that he isn't just a great trail horseβhe truly shines in the arena! Galaxy moves easily off his rider's seat and legs and has a nice handle with beautiful circles, smooth gates, nice spins, and big stops. He has the willingness and athletic ability to continue excelling in a variety of disciplines. With his combination of handle, movement, and ranch experience, Galaxy would be a fantastic horse to take into ranch versatility classes and have some fun with.
Galaxy also has a pedigree to be proud of. He is sired by Colonels Shining Gun, a son of the legendary Colonels Smoking Gun (Gunner). His dam is SS Gossip Girl, by Shiners Voodoo DR. His pedigree brings together some recognizable names in the performance-horse world. It's a pedigree that complements Galaxy's versatility, athletic ability, and willingness to work.
Galaxy is the kind of horse that can go from taking the entire family down the trails, to gathering cattle, to navigating obstacles, and then stepping into the arena and showing off his buttons. He has the looks to get you noticed, the ability to back them up, and most importantly, the sweet and willing personality that makes you enjoy spending time with him. Galaxy loves to please, loves his person, and has even been taught to lay down on cue. He is a special horse with a lot to offer, and one that can truly be enjoyed both in and out of the arena.
Galaxy is flashy, talented, experienced, willing, and genuinely fun to be around β the whole package in one handsome blue-eyed gelding.
