Friendly… wow! I’m just going to start out by saying this is the best pony that we have ever had come through. He is absolutely hands down the most gentle, kind, easy, broke, cute pony I’ve been around. I can’t say enough good things about him. He’s the perfect size standing around 11hh and is very wide and thick. He will last kids many years being that good medium size. He is also the prime age of 8!! He is easy to catch no matter if he is in a 100 acre pasture. He will meet you at the gate with a big whinny. He has the most beautiful slick summer coat, you couldn’t ask for any more color or shape. His winter coat is still beautiful but he is definitely a cuddly fluffy teddy bear in the winter! Friendly has only had 2 owners his whole life. He was raised and used by small kids in Spanish parades, trails, and back yard activities. So he has definitely seen the ropes from a young age! We have used him on trails, Christmas parade, ridden in the downtown stockyards, used in the arena with flags, and play day type events. Friendly is great with ropes, kids can fully learn what they need to on him. He travels very well. He is not buddy sour AT ALL. He loves people and wishes to be with you over the horses, unlike most ponies. He will stand tied like a soldier all day, no pawing. He is broke broke where you guide him he will go. Super easy for the littles to ride solo, and you do not have to worry about him being naughty and trying to take the bit etc. If they pull back he tucks his head and stops. No funny business. We have left him off for 3 months, jump on and go absolutely no buck or run off. He will ride out completely away from other horses out through a big field and walk with his head down. That’s shown over and over in the YouTube video. He is a saint! He never spooked in the parades or at the stockyards, it’s like he’s in his element! He loves it! This is a pony that has been fully proofed and tested, he is SAFE. He is great with his feet, will let you hold his feet all day if you wanted. Obviously stands great for the farrier too!! He is great with being saddled/unsaddled. Loads and unloads like a champ! Good with being bathed, and his favorite being groomed and brushed he LOVES snacks and scratches. He will do anything you ask, even come in the house. He is absolutely healthy and sound. No founder.
