"Falkor" Dun Gelding Draft

3-year-old draft cross gelding. 16.2 and growing fast! Will finish out at ~17.1. This boy is growing fast and will need time to fill out. Has 120 days of training. He is an incredibly brave horse! Has been started over obstacles and never misses a beat. Extensively trail ridden; rides out confidently alone or in a group, crosses water and bridges, can lead or follow in a group, and walks back to the barn on a loose rein.

Has ponied other horses. Knows all the basics: stops, backs, side passes, turns on the shoulder, turns on the haunches, simple lead changes, rates. He’s been consistently exposed to high traffic areas. Introduced to cattle and shows no fear working them. Frequently hauled off the farm and never turns a hair. Loads on a trailer like it’s second nature. Stands tied all day long. Has been shown twice during his training and brought home 2 wins, a second, and a fourth. Acts like a seasoned veteran when he ships off farm. Impressive temperament for a 3 yo. Will go in any direction! He will be your “go anywhere, do anything” horse. Currently needs a consistent training program with an experienced horseman; he’s still young. He wants to please and willingly does anything he’s asked! Gets along well in a mixed herd: geldings, mares, donkeys, mules. If you’ve been looking for a young draft cross to take in your direction, this is your chance to finish out a gentle giant who will fulfill all of your riding needs!
