This adorable little registered gelding has been there, done that. He is trained to respond to light hand and leg signals. He moves out with only slight calf pressure, stops with light lifting of the reins and sitting back in the saddle. Side-passes down hill and goes through anything you point him at. Woods, water, trail, we had him to places where he was exposed to a lot of noise, colorful objects and lots of people and it didn’t phase him. There are no vices. No kick, buck, jump, spook, bite, rear……..you get the point. He has never worn a bit because I never needed one and I am not a fan of them. He has been ridden with a hackamore mostly, sometimes with just a halter, and a few times with just a rope around his neck and he does great with it all. He can be ridden bareback or with a saddle. He does ground tie as well. I have ridden him quite a few times with my infant son with me and he just knows, he steps along like he’s walking on eggs, and then when its just me, he has enough life to keep from being boring(which is why I put his temperament down as a three) he could TOTALLY excel as a therapy or lesson horse. He loves human interaction and has a way of sensing when somebody not so confident is riding and boosting their confidence in themselves. This has been my personal horse for 2 years and was our horse ever since he was weanling. I love this horse and want him to go to somebody that will truly appreciate him for what he’s worth and for what he’s good at. I am negotiable on price, HOWEVER, I am NOT desperate to sell, so no low ball offers please. My only reason for selling is that I’m hoping to get a mare with the money I get for him. Thanks for looking!
