Offered to keep, Dylan has a sweetheart personality and loves her ‘person’ more than anything. Very lightly ridden for her age, she only started consistent work about 1.5 years ago (due to no fault of her own, old owner just didn’t have the time), but she is very well schooled. She knows her flatwork and all fundamentals in lateral movements (shoulder and haunches in, leg yields, half passes) and has been jumping courses. She takes her work very seriously and is probably the smartest horse I’ve ever ridden- you teach her something once and it’s with her fit life. She’s forward ride but also sensitive (but not spooky- she’s brave as anything) so she’d appreciate a rider that will be soft with her. This mare is a real athlete with lots of jump in her. She’s also been cross country schooling and didn’t blink an eye at a single jump and got in the water so she could definitely have a future in eventing. Dylan would be great for someone that wants to continue her development and have a horse that loves to be loved and fussed over.
She’s been barefoot since the winter without issue and can go out with mares and geldings. She’s wonderful to hack alone or with company. She trailers perfectly, ties, stands well for the farrier and vet, and will even let you spray fly spray directly on her face.
She’s been doing a lot of hacking and field work so asking $8000 for an uncomplicated sale.
