7 yr. old AQHA registered red roan mare.

Good looking, sane, solid, honest and very dependable, this mare is truly a pleasure to own and ride. She has super barn manners, loves to be groomed and is always happy to see you when you come to the barn. Stands great for the farrier or to pick her hooves, very easy to tack up. Absolutely no vices and 100% sound.

I would say Darla is the ultimate family horse, she is kid safe, husband safe and anybody would love to ride her.

She is always the first choice for my kids when they want to go trail riding. On the trails she will go in the front or the back of the rest of the riders, it doesn’t matter to her. She will work in the arena or outside, lopes circles, neck reins, side-passes, backup, and takes both leads. She will stand to be mounted at the mounting block as well. She crosses water, goes over bridges, drags barrels, there really is almost nothing you can’t do with her. Darla has had a lot of trail miles; she loads easily in the trailer and hauls well. She will also herd cattle and sheep if that is what you want to do.
