5-Year-Old Gelding | 14.3 1/2 h| McCurdy Plantation

Crawfish is a 5-year-old, 14.3 1/2 hand NON registered McCurdy Plantation gelding that has been plenty of miles and has been exposed to a variety of situations. He has been ridden down the highway, gathered and sorted livestock, used as a work horse, and enjoyed as a trail horse.

One of Crawfish’s biggest highlights is how well he gaits. He has a smooth, natural gait and can easily step up into a 10 mph gait without ever breaking into a canter. If you ask him to lope, he will pick up both leads as well….but he is exceptionally nice to ride when he is gaiting and can cover country comfortably without having to canter.

Crawfish is a handy, useful gelding that has seen more than just an arena. He has been put to work and has experience doing the things you would expect from a good using horse. He has been out in the real world and has been given plenty of opportunities to see different sights and experiences.
