Meet Coco!
Coco is going on 10 yr old gelding. He is right at 12hh, weighing around 600 lbs. Right at 48" tall. - Click here to reveal phone number - lbs. Very sturdy and sure-footed. Has been ridden by teenagers and adults in the - Click here to reveal phone number - lb range when needed. His specialty is trail riding. He will follow his buddies in a line all day long. Keeps up with the big guys no problem. We have used him in the show arena for 4H and he does well with a confident rider. He does beyond fantastic in lead line/halter classes. He can walk and trot like a boss, but it takes a lot of convincing for a lope.
Absolute puppy dog personality. Adores attention, grooming, treats. Can be ridden bareback, kids climb all over him and he tolerates it well. Gets along with mares/geldings/donkeys/chickens just fine. Tolerates fly spray, bathes, trailers with no complaints.
Typical pony diet, he needs a grazing muzzle in the spring and fall. We keep him on a ration balancer and grass hay. Otherwise he will get sore in his feet. My farrier had me get xrays of his feet, and we trim him accordingly to keep him barefoot. He has also been kept shod if he will be trail rode a lot. We have owned him for 2 years. He has had regular dental work and vet care. Does well in a stall or turned out 24/7.
