"CHK DUN D" Red Roan Gelding Quarter Horse

AQHA 7 year old, 15.2 hand Dun Roan gelding. Dundee is a beautiful and uniquely colored dun roan gelding with great conformation, bone and feet. This is a super gentle, well trained and good natured horse that’s in the prime of his life. In the arena Dundee will collect up well, has a nice smooth jog and will lope out on cue. Takes his leads, good stop, backs soft and will side pass with ease to work gates. You couldn’t ask for a more solid mount to ride out anywhere! He is rock solid to ride out in any urban environment from busy neighborhood streets to busy highways. He is confident and at ease with every kind of fast passing vehicles, bicycles, motorcycles to farm animals, landscaping equipment and the dogs that frequently run up barking at us as we ride by. Dundee is equally a rockstar to ride out on the trails. He navigates steep Rocky terrain like a pro. Will lead, follow, ride peacefully in a group as well as out alone. Crosses the river, creeks, deadfall, and trail bridges. Dundee has been used on the movie set “Florida Wild” and is very used to a lot of commotion and things going on all around him. He has been used on cattle ranches and has cow working and Ranch roping experience. This is a solid, solid horse that’s an absolute pleasure to ride and work with. He gets along well turned out with other horses and is a gentleman wherever he is. He will side up and pick you up on whatever you climb up on to get on him. Good to tie, tack, mount, bathe, load, and haul. He has a wonderful and kind disposition and is simply a great horse! We even let our two year old Grandson ride him as that’s how trustworthy he is.
