"Charming Danny Boy" Sorrel Gelding Appendix

Barn name Dan. As a 2 year old he was in 2 races on the track. I purchased him when he was 8. He was already started on the barrels but I finished him out on barrels and trained on pole bending and ran on other playday events. I have ran him in BBR, Senior world barrel race in Texarkana, NBHA OK 08 races & NBHA state races. He is not a speed demon! He can run but likes to take the turns at a slower pace. He runs in a Hackamore long shank. I have even put him in beginner Ranch trail shows. He has had a few beginner riders on him and does very well. He has been trail road on at the Equestrian trails at the lake. I try to do everything on my horses so that I can use them for whatever comes up. He is a very mild mannered horse. I have had him since he was 8 years old. I've never had him kick, buck or act hateful to me on ground or in the saddle. He is very loving. He is not head shy and will let you clean his ears. Loves to be groomed. He is the safest horse that I have ever owned and that is one reason I bought him when I did. He has mostly been sitting in the pasture for 2 years. In May he had 2 weeks of riding. I have left shoes off of him for 2 years to toughen his feet up and I don't ride anymore because of health reasons. He is wasting in the pasture waiting on a loving family. Vises- spot in eye( uveitis), he takes horse aspirin for eye. He has always had a small soft lump on knee area, it has never caused any issues and was x-rayed and sonogram and drained by different vets. But this was years ago not sure I have the paperwork on his knee. I'll try to find it if you are interested.
