For about a month, I let her just be a horse! Then her work began.
She now knows that her food won’t get taken away, (she is stalled and fed every morning and night) Bella gets along with my other mares, and she’s working just great under saddle in the round pen.
I’ve been working with her on the ground with lunging, turning directions, getting her used to anything I can desensitize her with. Clinton Anderson method. She joins up very quickly and pays attention to me.
Under saddle, she has no issues, I don’t really have an arena to work in but we manage in the round pen.
I am selling her because at 70, I’m not as energetic as I used to be, and believe she would be incredible (if I were 40) so much potential here.
She’s gorgeous, has an amazing personality and it’s killing me to write this, because she needs someone younger to be her partner and go places together!
Bella has been thoroughly vetted, has had an equine dentist tell me her teeth are perfect! Chiropractor exam (just in case). You never know what you may be getting when you buy from a rescue.
She will only be going to a home that will treat her as I do.
I think she could do anything you ask her to do! I took one TB off the track to become a high level event horse, but at 70, I’m not sure I can physically do that again. Which is why I’m trying to find… her person!
We will also deliver her for a fair price! Within a reasonable distance.
