Sire was foundation bred, both he and dam were working ranch horses. Casey has been to a 1 day cow clinic where he did great but has never been anything but a trail horse.
In the herd Casey is the boss, with a low key subtle leadership style. With Casey is in charge the herd is calm, none of the other horses have bites or marks.
IF HE'S SUCH A GREAT HORSE, WHY ARE YOU SELLING HIM? I have 8 horses, which is about 4 too many for our pasture. My wife and daughter recently acquired Tennessee Walkers. Trotting to keep up with the gaited horses and posting for hours on end isn't fun, even though Casey does it with ease. I have a 16 hand Tennessee Walker gelding that has become my primary horse, and Casey is the odd man out. He's too young and good a horse to retire so I want him to go to a good home where someone else can enjoy this splendid little gelding.
4 black feet, hard hooves. Casey was shod on a few occasions for trips to rocky areas but has been barefoot his entire life. Never been lame. He does have an old injury since he was 3 to the coronary band on his front right hoof which causes a "hangnail" on the back, we just keep it trimmed up off the ground and ride him with trail boots. Never been an issue, even when the injury was fresh.
