"Meet Captin Hook! He acquired his name by his adorable hook shaped blaze! He is known around out barn as ""king"" He is a handsome 6-year-old, 17hh, Quarter Horse/Percheron cross gelding. He is the ultimate confidence-building partner. King is a stunning black and when the sun hits just right he is dapples pop out! He has a charming personality, and incredibly smooth gaits making him a horse you won’t want to get off of!
King is truly user-friendly and broke to English, Western, bareback, and to Drive. He side passes, pivots, backs, works off seat and leg pressure. He will stand like a rock at the mounting block for you to get on. Kids as young as 5 can hop on bareback and control him with ease, while more advanced riders can still have fun on him. Overall he's more whoa than go and will take his time without being to lazy!
King has miles of experience on roads, trails, open fields, bridges, tarps, water, and even trips to the local farm store. He is traffic-safe and well broke to drive.
With his calm, steady temperament and willing attitude, King is a wonderful confidence builder for beginners while still being enjoyable for experienced riders. He truly is the full package—beautiful, versatile, smooth, and dependable!
