"Captain" - 14.3H, 14 yr old sorrel white overo paint gelding

Captain is a big stout, pretty gentle paint gelding. He is simple and easy to get along with. This video was him having weeks off, he is definatily the kind you can just grab once a month and go have fun on. Perfect basic starter horse, extra horse or family horse. Take him to the local playdays, trail rides, parades, or to check your fences and cows. He is easy to catch even in the pasture, quiet to lead, load, haul, stands tied anywhere, gentle to brush, bathe, pick feet, shoe, saddle, bridle, and stands dead quiet for mount and dismount. Gets along well in any group of horses, happy to ride out alone, or with a group of horses. Goes around relaxed and easy on a loose rein. Nice little trot, lope, and good stop. This cheaper basic starter horses that are gentle and quiet, ...but not ancient, are hard to find!
