This is "CACTUS", a beginner, novice, and youth friendly BUCKSKIN QUARTER HORSE GELDING that is versatile and safe. He has been used to teach beginners to ride in the mountains and to work cattle. He is very broke, gentle, quiet, and honest. He has a nice one hand neck rein, a solid stop, and he backs up. He moves off of leg cues, lopes circles out in the open, and is obedient. He aims to please and does whatever his rider asks of him. He lopes off quietly with no hump and no buck. He has been hauled to the wilderness and ridden in rough country with total beginners and youth riders on him. He rides double, bareback, and in just a halter and lead rope. He rides out alone, goes anywhere you point him, and he is sure footed and steady on rocky terrain. He will cross the deep water without hesitation, he is fine with dogs, and he is traffic safe. He is 14 years old and stands 14.1 hands tall. He has excellent ground manners, stands tied, loads, bathes, and hauls with no issues. He is a great horse to have around for the whole family to ranch off of or have for a great trail horse. He has given lots of lessons to novice riders.
