Although he is named after a very fast race car, Bugatti is as laid back and low key as can be! At a mere 2.5 yrs old he has been exposed to all phases of ranch work where he is always a trusty mount! In true Appaloosa fashion, he is brave and very sure of himself! Absolutely nothing phases him from dirt bikes, dogs, fireworks, or any other surprises he has encountered! From the first saddle we ever threw on his back he has never offered to be anything but GENTLE and safe! I have videos and pics of his very first ride!
Bugatti has been a part of our family since born and has provided full time entertainment to us with his clown like personality! He currently stands 15.2 and has bone like a half draft! I would expect him to mature to 16H and tip the scales over 1300! He has excellent feet, never been injured and has no notable blemishes nor bad habits! He does well with all the other horses in the pasture or is perfectly content in a stall being pampered!
Bugatti would excel as a pick up horse or be the star of the show in a main act! Although we have not taught him any specific tricks such as laying down or sitting, he would be extremely easy to train with his trusting disposition and wittiness! As a foal he would lay down in my lap and soak up all the loving he could! He is an extreme attention hound and loves to be in the middle of whatever you are doing!
We will be heartbroken to see this magnificent goofball leave our place, but with the potential he possesses to become someone’s super star we are confident he will find his calling! He will be 100% sound and gentle in every way! I am happy to answer any further questions at (979)709-2879.
