"Folks, every once in a while, one comes through the barn that really deserves to be bragged on, and BOONE IS ONE OF THOSE MULES!
If you’ve been searching for a mule that’s gentle enough for the whole family, broke enough to impress an experienced horseman, and dependable enough to enjoy without a second thought, you need to take a serious look at Boone!
Boone is a 6-year-old, 13.3-hand gelding mule with a beautiful build, a wonderful disposition, and an incredible amount of training. He’s the kind that makes you appreciate what a truly well-broke mule is supposed to be!
Boone will neck rein around one-handed, back up willingly, slide to a stop, and pick up his correct leads both directions. He’s got an absolutely wonderful walk, a comfortable trot, and one of the nicest, smoothest little lopes you could ask for. He’s so comfortable you can sit and enjoy his lope BAREBACK!
And speaking of bareback, BOONE RIDES BAREBACK AND BRIDLELESS! Not something you find every day, especially in a mule with this kind of quiet, trustworthy disposition.
He’s also trained to LAY DOWN ON COMMAND FROM THE GROUND OR SADDLE, making mounting and dismounting a breeze! You can even crack a bullwhip right off his back without upsetting him. He’s been exposed to things that would make plenty of riding animals come unglued, and he takes it all in stride.
He’s traffic safe, crosses creeks willingly, handles the trails with confidence, and is an absolute pleasure to spend the day riding. He’s not looking for something to get excited about or trying to make a job harder than it needs to be. He’s sensible, willing, and knows how to take care of his rider.
On the ground, he’s every bit as good as he is under saddle. Boone handles beautifully, stands tied patiently, and has a peaceful, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to have around.
There are plenty of mules out there with some training, but finding one with this much handle AND the disposition to accommodate a beginner is a different story. Boone is gentle, forgiving, trustworthy, and suitable for riders of all experience levels.
Folks, when’s the last time you saw a mule gentle enough for a beginner, broke enough to ride bridleless, handy enough to slide to a stop, and smooth enough to comfortably lope bareback? Boone isn’t just another trail mule. He’s the kind of mule people spend years looking for!
At only 6 years old, he’s got a lifetime of riding ahead of him. Whether you’re looking for a dependable family trail mule, a confidence builder, or something fancy broke that you can really enjoy, Boone checks an awful lot of boxes!
Good mules aren’t hard to find. But GOOD-MINDED, GENUINELY BROKE mules like Boone? Those are the ones you don’t let get away!
