Bonnie is a 4 year old mare. Standing 15.1hh and weighing 1250lbs, she’s a deep dark bay color and has as good of conformation as you can find. She’s got straight clean legs and is 100% sound. This horse is not your typical 4 year old; she’s very laid back and never gets worked up about anything. She enjoys learning and has an outstanding mind on her. Bonnie is very gentle. She loves people and I truly believe she loves being caught and ridden! We have used her for a little bit of everything. She’s had a lot of outside miles on the trails, moving cattle, and all aspects of ranch work. She crosses water, timber, and picks her way through the rocks. She’s very sturdy and sure footed. She’ll ride off away from the others with confidence and never even perks an ear for her friends. Bonnie is fancy in the arena as well. She has a smooth stride, and she moves with elegance. We have started heading steers on her and there’s so much ability there. From day one she has been extremely cowy and tracks in the perfect spot and she’s very levelheaded in the box as well. She is also very stopy for a big horse! You could catch Bonnie in a 50-acre pasture with ease and jump on her bareback to ride back to the barn.
