"Blueberry" Blue Roan Mare Missouri Fox Trotter

Blueberry is an 8-year-old Missouri Fox Trotter standing approximately 15 hands tall. She has spent her entire life as a trail horse and has extensive experience on the trail, including camping at multiple state parks.

Blueberry is a dependable, seasoned trail mount with a calm and easygoing disposition. Her previous owner was a gentleman in his 80s who was no longer able to mount her. He exhibited her in several parades.

She trailers well both alone and with other horses. She loads and unloads without hesitation and will back quietly out of the trailer. On the trail, Blueberry is comfortable riding alone or in a group and is content to walk along on a loose rein. She does not mind traffic and takes new environments and obstacles in stride.

Blueberry stands quietly for the farrier, bathing, clipping, grooming, and saddling. She will stand in cross-ties and stands well at a mounting block for both mounting and dismounting. She is also comfortable being ridden bareback.

On the trail, Blueberry will confidently cross and walk through water, navigate logs, mud, and ditches, making her a versatile and dependable partner for a variety of trail conditions. She has been exposed to dogs and cows and handles them well.

Blueberry is a horse I confidently trail ride with my 4-year-old son riding with me, which speaks highly of her quiet and trustworthy nature. She has clean legs, is sound, and is ready to continue providing a safe and enjoyable trail-riding experience for her next rider.
