This is "BLUE RAIN", a family, youth, and beginner friendly, ranch ridden BLUE ROAN QUARTER HORSE GELDING that anyone can ride. This gelding is muscular, stout, and attractive. He stands 15.2 hands tall and he is 12 years old. He has been there and done that. He has been ridden by riders of all ages to check cattle, gather stock, and do all other aspects of ranching. He has been trail ridden, hauled to the state parks, and been on the overnight camping trips. He will one hand neck rein, lope off with no hump and no buck, and he will slide stop on whoa. He backs up, moves off of leg cues, and goes anywhere you point him. He is not too fast and not too slow. He is the perfect speed and he will only go as fast as he is asked. He rides relaxed, cool, and calm on a loose rein. He goes out alone bravely and will ride in a group quietly. He doesn't care if he brings up the rear or leads the pack. He is fine with dogs, he is traffic safe, and not spooky. He unloads in new territory quietly and rides off low headed. He is a great horse to have around to enjoy for ranch work, trail riding, or taking to the fun shows. He stays gentle and doesn't freshen up with time off.
