We have had Betty for the past year after purchasing her from the gentleman who raised her. My 9-year-old daughter can catch her, tack her up, and head out riding by herself. She is a true **hop-on-and-go-anytime** kind of horse.

Betty has a true one-hand neck rein and rides happily on a loose rein for leisurely rides through the woods. She crosses whatever obstacles you come across, handles new situations exceptionally well, and is just as comfortable leading the group as she is riding way behind. She rides equally well in traffic or out on the trails and is very sure-footed.

She is the same dependable ride day in and day out, with smooth transitions between her gaits. She can ease along slow and relaxed or pick up the gait and travel on. She has also been hauled extensively to riding events and overnight camping trips and drives single to a cart.

Betty gets along well with other horses when turned out and is quiet and easy to handle for bathing, grooming, shoeing, and standing tied.
